Funny how life changes when you have kids. For the better, but I have become such a different person! I know my husband Michael feels the same. We both were in politics in Washington, D.C. before Liam came into our lives. I envisioned a long career filled with travel and campaigning. Now, I am opening up J.W. Tumbles in Manchester, NH and I couldn't be more excited about this chapter in our lives! After being pregnant with Liam during 9/11 we wanted to move somewhere where family traditions seemed important. We wanted to live somewhere where our children would feel safe and where "everyone knew everyone." We wanted to live somewhere people looked out for their neighbors. Well, we found it!

New Hampshire is a great place to live - especially with young kids. Our situation may be a bit different in that our first son Liam was born with Down syndrome. But, the similarity I share with all of you is that I am a mom, and I am always looking for opportunities for my children to have fun and to learn.

Over the past few years, I have dedicated my life to charities that are close to my heart, like the National Down Syndrome's Annual Buddy Walk. I have learned so much and had so much fun! One thing I have learned about myself is how much I love helping children! The reason I am so very excited about opening JW Tumbles is that it will be new to New Hampshire! I am proud of this company and it stands for everything I do ...helping children grow emotionally and physically - building self awareness and self confidence and having loads of fun at the same time.

New Hampshire needs a place like JW Tumbles and my hope is that you all find a new home with us there! I hope you enjoy reading my blog and please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or comments. Let's start a conversation that will ultimately help all families.
